Trying to Be an Ally in 2019

I have the best of intentions. I really do.
As someone who fervently believes in the rights of all people, I frequently refer to myself as an ally to people who are often marginalized.
The problem is, as much as I aspire to be a true ally, I don’t always live up to that noble nomenclature.
