This reminds me of the Barbara Ehrenreich book “Bright-Sided” where people kept telling her to be positive after her breast cancer diagnosis. This need to constantly look at the bright side is ridiculous. Sitting with our emotions as you point out Jun is so important. It’s far more authentic to accept the suckage than constantly looking for the sunny side of the street. Brava!!
