I applaud you for stressing the importance of authenticity and fearlessness. However, there are a few of us who must use pen names for legal reasons. The act of writing regardless of our identity is an act of courage. I think like everything else in this life, our identities are nuanced, and we put as much of ourselves out there as we can.
